At LM Swim School, we are dedicated to providing high-quality swimming lessons in a safe and fun environment. Our experienced instructors are committed to helping you become a confident swimmer.  We follow Swim Englands 'Learn to Swim' framework which is widely recognised for quality.

Beginner lessons for water safety and basic skills. Personalised instruction for all levels.

Our beginner lessons are fun and active to encourage the children to feel confident in the water whilst introducing the basic skills of floating, kicking and being able to regain an upright position independently. 

 

Beginner Swim Lessons

Intermediate Swim Lessons

Intermediate lessons provide children with the opportunity to refine and enhance the techniques they have been learning.  We also begin to build endurance by swimming further distances during our 'big swim' weeks, this in turn will prepare children for the advanced levels.

 

Advanced Swim Lessons

Advanced lessons are for those children who wish to continue their swimming journey.  Here we look and some of the competitive elements to swimming and increase those distances.  We also encourage an increase in speed whilst maintaining technique and will give the children timed swim challenges.

What age groups do you cater to?
We cater to swimmers of all ages, from toddlers to adults.

How long are the swim lessons?

Our swim lessons typically run for 30 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on the level of the swimmer.

Do you offer private lessons?
Yes, we offer private lessons for individuals who prefer one-on-one instruction.

Is there a waiting list?

Yes we do have a waiting list for our swimming lessons and our 1-2-1 lessons.

What times are your swimming lessons?

Our lessons begin at 4pm and end at 8pm, Monday to Thursday.  Please see our swimming lessons page for more information, including our family and adults only swim sessions.

How do I pay my child's fees?

We ask for payment during the last 2 weeks of a block (half term) to secure your childs place for the following block.  If payment is not recieved on time your place may be given to someone else.  We take cash and card at the pool.  

Do I need to get into the pool with my child?

No you do not need to get in with your child.  We follow Swim Englands recommened teaching practice which is from poolside rather than in the water for safety of the children.  This is so our swimmers can be seen clearly and feel demonstrations can be given effectively from poolside to aid childrens learning.
